She started her career at Australian fashion label Wayne Cooper, working alongside the British designer and traveling internationally for design inspiration. She later relocated to London, and worked with Creative Director Hannah Marshall, then with legendary photographer Rankin- joining the founding team that launched Hunger Magazine.
Since moving to New York in 2011, Lisa has built a successful freelance career shaped by her multicultural background and global perspective. Alongside her work in the industry, her time as the door host at the iconic Boom Boom Room at The Standard gave her a unique front-row view of New York's nightlife, creative community, and cultural tastemakers—experiences that continue to influence her aesthetic and storytelling.
Previously represented by an agency, Lisa now works independently and is available for direct bookings in fashion styling, art direction, and creative consulting.
Lisa is married to photographer Neil Dawson, and is mother to daughter Lien and son Khai.
